OK, for the ultimate, but interesting, timewaster on the web, there is Chatroulette. So one recent evening, I took Gigantor (thats Tetsujin-28 for those of you in Japan) out on the site to see what sort of reaction Id get from people joining in video chat to find a 4 inch high toy robot. Lets just say hes not the strangest thing to be seen on the site! This image is a sampling of some of those images (Gigantor is You in the centerthats what they saw from me)
NOTE TO PARENTS: While this was an interesting observation of humanity project, the site is NOT kid safe. And while Chatroulette does not tolerate broadcasting obscene, offending, pornographic material there were many times the video from the other end was all that and more. And while You have to be at least 16 years old to use our service, sadly, you do see quite a fewapparently unsupervisedkids on the site. Not a good match. Please watch after your kids and supervise their online activities!
